From April to August of '95 I was working on a film in Romania (see The Adventures of Galgameth in the Special Effects section of the Gallery). When we finished filming I travelled through the northern part of Romania (Transylvania) and on to Budapest, Hungary. See also Romania in the Travel section of the Gallery.
Budapest is a beautiful and exciting city, a blend of ancient and modern. Divided by the River Danube, the Buda side has cliffs covered with monuments, castles and cathedrals. The Pest side is a sprawling city of modern shops among fantastic old architecture.
