The Jokhang is considered to be the most revered religious structure in Tibet. We were there during the Tibetan Buddhist festival of Saga Dawa. Thousands of pilgrims poured into the city from all over Tibet. The night photos below were taken as the full moon rose over the Jokhang on the final night of Saga Dawa.
